How can you make a long story short???I got custody of my then 13 year old son due to abuse by his dad back in december. In the past 6 months there has been nothing but problems. He lies, steals, distroys thing and that's just to name a few.i got a phone call from his school this morning. He is suspended from school till Monday and they are starting a PINS petition to get my son placed in a home.I know he need help.My son has no emotions whatsoever,it's like he is a robot.Maybe I'm just venting but I really think I need some input from someone..My fiance and I on a daily basis experience many problems with my son. If there is anyone that can give me some ideas please feel free to respond.

I have a son who is now 20 years old. For 12 years he has been in foster care. I know this is a long time, & I wanted to ask how I handle this. Every thing I have tried(going to visit him), having my own home, then losing it,asking for help from the foster care worker to get him home, has been long & they don't help me. I did nothing except make the mistake of thinking I could not handle Matthew(ADHD). I put 5 of my children in foster care & all but Matthew are out. I don't know what I can do about this. I don't have housing now because I lost my house in 2004. This is very sad.

I am new to this site. I have a 7 year old girl that can be very sweet at times but when she hears the word "no" or is told to do something such as this am" go to the table and art breakfast" she loses it.
She was thirty minutes late for school- because she had to eat, dress, and then leave. Eating for her has become very important. She lost 5 pounds being on Adderal XR for what they thought was ADHD, now the doctor thinks she might be bipolar.
When she loses it, she spits, kicks, hits me, throws breakable things against the wall, destroys the house. We have tried different behavior plans , which never work- she rebels more.
She never has huge ideas like she can fly or she is "an animal" or such. SHe never seems manic except being hyper and cannot settle down for hours.
I would like anyone to share their experiences when their child was first diagnosed, some of their behaviors, age at diagnosis.

A few day ago, when my daughter's friends were hanging out in the house,
I saw them passing around a piece of paper and laughing. When I came
home from work, I found that piece of paper lying on the table. This
isn't unusual. Often I will find books, paper and other things lying
around the house, waiting to be tidied up.
The drawing wasn't that bad. It was the content that shocked me. A
police officer and a blonde man with big glasses are standing in an
apartment. Between them is a couch with a bloody severed arm on it. The
officer is pointing to the arm. His speech bubble says: "Mr. Dahmer, do
care to explain why there is a severed arm lying on your furniture?"
The blonde guy, who must be Jeffrey Dahmer, says: "Haven't you heard
about the 2nd Amendment? Every American citizen has the right to keep
and bear arms."
In big letters, was written the title, Jeffrey Dahmer and the Second Amendment. My daughter has mentioned Dahmer a few times before. Should I be worried about this?
