Here's my question of the day:
What type of chores are required from the teenagers in your homes?
And ...how many times do you have to ask before they get done?

They should do as much as possible, allowed by time and strength. They don't like being told what to do so they should do it ahead of time then they won't be told. Even my boss can't tell me what to do because he was worried he didn't even get his part done yet when I did.
Kids have chores as clean main bathroom, take out all trash, clean after pets, do their own laundry, clean room and we all take turns cleaning the kitchen and everyone should clean after themselves. I have to remind them every week what their chores are. Now I list them and I make them initial them when they are complete. That way there is no excuse that they forgot. Most chores are either weekly or as needed.
I get complaints, but I remind them that ski clubs, college, movies, etc are quite expensive and I think they should help out. Also when they are really busy with school work, sports, etc. I lay off on the daily stuff and pitch in a little more.
