My Son Cuts Himself

MY SON IS 19 AND CUTS HIMSELF, 2 NIGHTS AGO HE CAME TO ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND SAID HE DID SOMETHING STUPID AND SHOWED ME WHERE HE WAS CUTTING HIMSELF, I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL RECENTLY THAT HE HD BEEN DOING THIS TO HIMSELF, NOT SURE WHAT TO DO I AM VERY SCARED FOR HIM,

I can certainly understand your concern. I've heard of this happening alot, although I don't have any first hand experience. I have found that the Connect with Kids website has some great resources you can use to reseach this subject. If you go to the Main Page where the "Search" field is and type in "cutting", you will be directed to a number of articles dealing with this subject.

I know you want to help your son get the help he needs. I hope this helps out.
