My dad is pretty much the coolest guy I know. (And I know at some point you will be reading this, dad, so I hope you are blushing a really nice shade of red.)

I want to be like him when I get older because I admire so much how he balances his job and his hobbies. So many adults give up on their interests, or else they don't have time to pursue them. My dad MAKES time for the things he likes to do. He plays in a band, he likes to write, and he just has the mentality of not wanting to settle.

I hope one day I can do that- have stability but also continue to do the extra things I love. To me, there is nothing more one could want out of life. :-).
