Family Vacations

I just got back from spending a week in Nantucket with my entire family. All 22 members of my family were able to get together and go on vacation. With everybody's differing schedules, it is hard to find a week when everybody is available. Since all of our lives are so hectic these days, we were lucky that we did. Every year I appreciate it more and more when all of my family is able to get together. It is so much fun to get to see all my aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. My family has so much fun together! I think it is a good idea for all families to spend time with their extended family. During the school year it is almost impossible for everyone to be able to get together. Hopefully next summer my family will be able to do something like this again!

I agree! My entire extended family went to a lake for the fourth of July last year and it was the most fun trip I have ever been on. There were 36 of us and we rented houses all over the lake in Texas. Some even came in RV's. We were there with our cousins new fiancee and we welcomed her into the family with our tradition of a parade. It was so much fun and the neighbors all thought we were crazy. I would trade any trip to go on that one again. I think that when it comes down to it family is always there for you and they are usually the most fun to be with.

I agree! We just returned from our annual beach trip with my entire family and it was a blast. It's great to see all the cousins together having fun. I really appreciate my parents setting this tradition in our family. It is something we all look forward to.

I enjoy spending time with my family as well. Sometimes it can be overwhelming though because I'm the oldest. Now that I'm almost 20, it's hard to act like a 10 year old. Sometimes my cousins get mad at me because I won't let them get away with some things. I had fun playing wii tennis against the little kids though!

That is great! I really enjoy getting to spend time with my family. Mine is not as big as yours (22! Wow!) but we still always have an awesome time. Sometimes hanging out with family can be as much fun as hanging out with friends!
