In a new survey, American teens say it's easier to buy prescription
drugs than it is to buy beer. Where do kids get oxycontin and vicodin
and Percocet? The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse says
half of them get the drugs from parents- either their parents or the
parents of a friend.

Because I'm 62 and a grandma I'd not heard of Pharm parties until one of my grandchildren began using prescription drugs. I had no idea kids would have the guts to take pills they knew little about. We went through quite a family ordeal. We cried, prayed and worked hard to help our granddaughter. Thankfully we caught it early enough so it worked. However, what parents go threw today is awful. Sometimes it's so late in the game there are few options.
Thanks for helping and bringing an awareness to parents today. The problem is everywhere. All we can do is share experience and keep on trying to be ahead of the game.
