Should Boys Get the HPV Vaccine?
A new vaccine, which protects girls from cervical cancer, is making headlines around the country. But there's been much less attention on how the vaccine can help boys.

What do we really know about HPV? How long has the vaccine been in use in humans and what are the statistics that it prevented any young girl from getting HPV/ cervical cancer. I do not agree to injecting our young girls with a virus when you have no way of knowing if this vacine will cause sterilization. What about the child who chooses not to be sexualy active before marriage?
Are there any statistics to show that it does not cause sterilization? If not the injections should come with a warning stating that HPV injection may cause sterilization.

In NJ I have been told that many of the insurance plans won't reimburse for the HPV series for girls...and it costs about $1000 for the series.
