I got all the Christmas decorating done last night-- woohoo!  It's lovely because I am in a smaller space and you only have to mess with half the stuff.  The kids pitched in, and it was the most stress free decorating I have done in years.  It didn't have to pass anyone's appropriate test but ours! 

I have totally procrastinated on shopping-- but I figure it will all get done.  This year my kids are not all about the lists of things they want-- I have been so pleasantly surprised.  In some ways it makes it harder, because I do want to get them something they would like, but their maturity of thinking about other people is such a present for me!
