My 16 year old daughter has had mild to moderate acne since her freshman year. We have been to a dermatologist, but after a year she gave up. She felt like it was a lot of money and trhing all this different stuff, with unsatisfied results. She didn't want to go on Accutane or birth control. We have tried so much stuff, including Proactive. She is very frustrated and it does hurt her self-confidence and wanting to go out in public.

Has anyone had good results with any natural products? I heard something about sea salt?

My proposition: Television and other media have decreased the amount of time family members spend interacting with one another. Lack of communication results to lack of trust from parents and family members. Troubled teen program believes that this is one of the common factors of becoming a troubled teen. Peers and media are common outlets for them to release their anger, feelings and emotions. Increasingly, the media are shaping children's behavior and attitudes, images of themselves, and perceptions of the world.
