Home schooling

I know nothing about home schooling. I am considering it for my 9th grader. Are there any CHRISTIAN cirriculums that you can refer me to? I would love to find something that would have a lot of internet, or professor type interaction. Something to hold her interest... educational of course, but also fun and easy to understand and follow along with. Something that would not need a ton of parent intervention. Thanks. Krisi

You might check out Alpha Omega Switched on Schoolhouse. It is a computer-based, Christian-based program that I have heard many good things about. You might also check out Vegsource.com/homeschooling and ask there. You will get a lot of great suggestions. Good luck!

Maybe use Veggie Tales movies? Also, it would require much more parent interviention, but in my Sacraments class my teacher played a movie and talked about how it related to the sacraments: Lion King, Keeping the Faith, and Chocolate were three of them. You could also send her to a Christian school where this would be in the cirriculum. I wouldn't home school her if you don't know anything about it and she doesn't want to be homeschooled. You're taking her away from all of her friends and everything she knows. She could just resent you.
