Childhood obesity facts don’t lie. When it comes to today’s children and obesity, they have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and are at risk for heart attacks and strokes at unprecedented levels. Seventy-five percent don’t get enough exercise; 80 percent don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables. And most shocking of all childhood obesity facts: for the first time in American history, scientists predict that children today will have shorter lifespans than their parents!

This is such an issue in the U.S. While my own children don't have a problem with weight, I know that they are not always eating the right things or get as much exercise as they should. This video was a wake up call for me and I think parents everywhere could benefit from seeing it.
